Venus

One evening i got curious if it was possible to get a more acurate image of the current phase of Venus with a camera - then with our eyes that tend to be "fooled". (As we know, the moon appears bigger when it is closer to the horizon then it really is.)

The icon the page before shows the current state of venus in "Starry Night Pro" - the picture beside the most "accurate" photographic result.

"Reading" the images from left to right the background is getting "noisier" as we go back in time towards sunset, and a brighter sky. The bottom left image was taken first, the top left last.
