Universal Personal Media Address

I would like to have something like a universal, personal address or "Universal Personal Media Address" or UPMA, or whatever you want to call it.

So you have a landline number, a fax number, one or two mobile numbers, several email addresses, maybe a pager. Faxes you receive at your fax number etc. What a hassle. To a UPMA you could send a fax, an email, a call, a video call - just everything. You would have one number for everything.

It would make these sort of things much easier.
