How buildings learn: The old facade to the left - a spacious atrium and the new shell built inside. The main area of the BCS headquarters in Covent Garden. The architecture is interesting: From the outside it appears to be a traditional neo-classicist building with a large glass lobby in the ground floor. Once inside one can see that the core has been completely removed and a new structure of glass and steel is sitting within the old exterior walls. go back |
